With cars excluded from the island, bike riding would have to be the most popular and fun way to explore the island.
Don't waste valuable island time hiring a bike when you arrive! Book your bike with your ferry ticket before you leave to avoid the queues and then leave the arrival jetty behind to explore beautiful, unique wildlife and spectacular views! Why not add on snorkel hire (extra charge) to ensure you fully immerse yourself in what Rottnest has to offer.
Rottnest is WA's most beautiful island just 19 kilometres off Perth's coastline. The island, 11 kilometres long and 4.5 kilometres at its widest point, is an A-Class reserve with stunning coral reefs, crystal clear waters and unique wildlife.
There is no better way to experience the freedom of this island than under your own steam. With bikes available from all departure points and a choice of departure times, you can really maximise your time on the island. Don't forget to pack a picnic, plenty of water and a towel and head off to find some of the most beautiful, unspoilt and empty beaches in Western Australia.
Warning: Rottnest may look flat, but be prepared for some deceptive hills!

Amendments to any other arrangements made in conjunction with a trip may incur an AU$100 administration fee per booking per change. No amendments are permitted bookings within 5 days of departure.

If a passenger wishes to transfer from one trip to another or transfer a booking to a third party you must notify us at least 30 days prior to the proposed departure date. A fee of AU$100 per person per change may apply (in addition to any charges levied by hotels, ground operators).
* Child policy
Child fares are available on most tours for passengers aged between 4 and 12 years inclusive.
Infants (0-3 yrs) are free on most tours when travelling with an adult, except for tours operating in Broome and ferry products to Rottnest where a small fee is charged. Please be mindful of the distances travelled when travelling with infants.
