Itinerario

Mushing is Alaska's state sport, and Borealis Basecamp guests have the opportunity to experience the thrill of dogsledding. During the hour-long ride, guests will travel along a section of the 800-mile Trans-Alaskan Pipeline, passing through an active trapline.
A mushing guide will describe life along the rugged trail as the sled dog team swings through the snowy forest. Meet your musher, Dave Turner, and his team of dogs and learn about what it is like to be a real racing dog musher in Alaska. In 2019, Dave won the Tustamena 200, a 200 mile mushing race just outside of Kasilof, Alaska. Dave's dogs aren't just his pets – they're his family. They rotate on living with him in the house, explore new trails, and meet people from all over the world, giving them an incredible quality of life.
