Kobe Port. Mosaic Ferris Wheel (About 2.5 hours, including lunch time on your own, free to move around)
Kobe Port is one of the most important industrial and commercial ports in Japan. It has been an area where foreigners have lived since the Meiji era, and is full of exotic customs. The buildings in the port area are famous for their modern design and lighting effects. Among them, the Kobe Port Tower, Maritime Museum and Mosaic Ferris Wheel are the iconic architectural landscapes of Kobe Port. It is very pleasant to enjoy the sea breeze on the seaside promenade, stroll around and spend a leisurely afternoon.
Mosaic ferris wheel
One of the landmarks of Kobe Minato is this bright red Ferris wheel facility. The former mini amusement park was called Mosaic Garden, so it is often called the Mosaic Ferris Wheel. After the amusement park closed in 2013, the Ferris wheel, as a landmark of Kobe, was managed and operated by surrounding shopping malls. This is also a great place to enjoy the night view of Kobe, and the night ride is very romantic.

Kitano Ijinkan Street (about 1 hour)
A large number of Western-style buildings were built in Kobe during the Meiji and Taisho periods. Currently, the Kitano generation in Chuo Ward has the most complete preservation. The area from Yamamoto-dori 1-chome to 3-chome in Kitano is called Kitano Ijinkan Street. Most of them were private residences of foreign businessmen or foreign embassies and consulates. Walking up the mountain along Kitano-dori or Ijinkan-dori, many small Western-style buildings will appear in front of you one by one. Some of them have been transformed into museums or art galleries, while others maintain their original layout and are open to the public. Boutiques, coffee shops, small restaurants and flower shops are dotted between the western-style houses. The entire area is filled with an elegant and exotic atmosphere. It’s like a small European town, perfect for walking.
Starbucks Kitano Ijinkan concept store—the first Starbucks in Japan
The building was built in 1907 and has a history of more than 100 years. It was originally an American mansion and was later bought by a German baker. After his son inherited it, it was converted into a coffee shop on the first floor and information on the second floor. Western-style pavilion on display. Later, it collapsed during the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995. It was finally restored at the original location and applied to become a national tangible cultural property facility of Japan. In 2009, Starbucks transformed this legendary building into the oldest Starbucks store: Kobe Kitano Ijinkan Store.

The Kazami Chicken House is the symbol of Kitano Ijinkan and is listed as an important cultural property of Japan. In addition to its steady and majestic architectural features, its interior structure is also worth seeing. The architect used Art Nouveau elements from the early 20th century to make the whole house look very luxurious and elegant, but also lively and comfortable. Kazamijikan is the residence of Gottfried Thomas, a German trader who lived in Kobe during the Meiji period. The two-story bungalow has bright red tiled exterior walls and wooden spires, and its appearance is very prominent among the many bungalows in Yijinkan. The place got its name from the iron Kazami chicken on the roof.

Moehokan was the private residence of Hunter Sharp, the U.S. Consul General in Kobe during the Meiji era. It was named after the color of its exterior wall (Moehokan in Japanese means light green color). The walls are painted in different colors in each room, and the mantelpieces are also different in various colors. The originality is impressive. Designated as an important cultural property. The second floor of Menghuangkan overlooks the beautiful street view of Kobe.
Fish scale house(Tickets are at your own expense: 1,050 yen)
The first Ijinkan to open in Kobe, it was so called because the natural stone slabs covering the exterior walls looked very much like fish scales. It has been designated as a national tangible cultural property and one of the 100 Best Hyogo Residences. One of the art galleries is located in the west, and has long-term exhibitions of a large number of masterpieces of modern and European paintings, including large landscapes by Trojan (Barbizon School), Matisse, Utrillo, Buffet and others.

Arima Hot Spring (About 1.5 hours, free time)
Arima Onsen is one of the three oldest hot spring towns in Japan. Its history can be traced back thousands of years. The hot spring streets lined with ancient inns, souvenir shops, and temples are full of sulfur smoke, and the shrines and temples are full of ancient flavor. Strolling through the charming streets of Arima, and wandering through the long and rich Japanese history, it feels like you have arrived in a paradise. You can see the continuous steam rising up everywhere on the streets, marking various types of hot springs, and you can also taste various delicacies in the prosperous hot spring town. Mount Rokko is located near Kobe. The mountainous area is designated as the Seto Inland Sea National Park. It is the best place to see the night view of Kobe. It is said to be one of the three night view spots in Japan. After reaching the top of the mountain, you can overlook Kobe, Osaka and Kyoto. In addition to the night view, Mount Rokko also has some other facilities, such as Kanakakan Rokko, Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden, Rotating Ten Kingdoms Observation Deck, etc. It is also the largest outdoor leisure resort in the Kansai region.

Mount Rokko Sky Observation Deck 
Mount Rokko Sky Observation Deck was named by Emperor Showa in 1981 (Showa 56) and is located next to the Rokko Cable Sanjo Station. It is one of the three recommended spots on Rokko Mountain for viewing the night scenery (open year-round, with free admission). In 1953 (Showa 28), the night view of Kobe was rated as a "Million Dollar Night View," based on the fact that the electricity cost of the view seen from Rokko Mountain exceeded one million dollars per month (at that time, 1 USD = 360 JPY). By 2005 (Heisei 17), the electricity cost of the night view per day exceeded ten million dollars (1 USD = 110 JPY), earning Kobe's night view the even more impressive title of the "10 Million Dollar Night View." The view extends clearly from Wakayama to the Akashi Strait!
Note: During the "Kobe Rokko MEETS ART 2025 beyond" event (Aug 23–Nov 30), admission to Rokko Tenrandai Observatory is charged. Guests pay on their own.

Guests who selected the hotel transfer package but choose to continue exploring on their own will end the tour on-site (this will be regarded as a voluntary waiver of the return transfer service, and the transfer fee is non-refundable).
Guests who selected the "meet-up/drop-off at meeting point" package will be dismissed at the drop-off location to end the tour.
Guests who booked the hotel or accommodation transfer package, please wait for the shuttle vehicle to arrive. You will be sent back to your hotel or accommodation to officially end the tour.
