Itinerario
Explore the underground caverns beneath the jungle, once used by the Mayans for cleansing rituals before sailing to Cozumel Island, a sacred site. Keep an eye out for brightly-colored macaws, deer, and monkeys as you wander through the network of subterranean tunnels.
Discover the orchid garden, a favorite of nature-lovers and amateur botanists. Check out the butterfly pavilion and the aviary, as well as the aquarium featuring specimens of gorgeous coral reefs. Head to the beach to relax, swim in the warm, calm waters, or snorkel with sea turtles. Most of these activities are included in your admission to Xcaret. Prices for additional activities may vary.
If you want to extend your outing at Xcaret in Cancun, stay for the Excaret Mexico Espectacular, a show full of folkloric entertainment, dancing, and music. Follow the narrative of Mexican history from the pre-Columbian era until modern day through the performers.
Xcaret Plus Upgrade:
Enjoy a buffet lunch, including orange juice and lemonade. Use snorkeling gear to further explore Xcaret's waters off of Cancun, Mexico and receive access to the Plus Area, which includes a more exclusive and private changing room and shower area.
At the end of the day, enjoy drop-off at your Cancun hotel.
1. For guests using Airbnb, a designated public meeting point has been allocated. Please write 'Plaza las Perlas' for Playa del Carmen on the address line. For Cancún, please write Base Xcaret. For Tulum, please write 'Aloft Tulum'. Please write 'Hotel Hacienda Morelos' when making a reservation for Puerto Morelos.
2. If your accommodation is not a hotel, you will need to enter your exact address including street name, street number, house number, county, postcode and city.
3. We can pick you up at your hotel or at the nearest available point on our routes.
4. To know the exact time and meeting point you must send a message thru the option on your reservation or call us at least 24 hours prior to the purchased visit date.
5. The guides will wear red T-shirts with the Xcaret logo on the back for easy identification. The guides will call out the name of the tour.
6. Upon pick up, please present your printed or digital voucher, photo ID and the credit card you used to make the purchase to board the bus and receive a wristband to enter the park.
7. You must arrive 15 minutes early at your assigned location.
Notes:
a. Please let us know if you do not require transport.
b. We cannot guarantee to collect you from a hotel where you are not a guest, as some hotels have policies that do not allow visitors onto the premises.
c. If you do not have a hotel at the time you purchase your ticket, you must contact Viator Customer Service at least 24 hours prior to your park visit to coordinate your pickup with us.
d. Transportation is not private, so you will be sharing the bus with other visitors to Grupo Xcaret.
e. Depending on your hotel location, you should expect to spend between 30 minutes and an hour and a half travelling to the park.
