Lake Como Day Trip from Milan**Lake Como Cruise --- Walking Tour of Como**

Summer (April - October) Discover the beauty of the Italian Lake District on a beautiful day trip from Milan to Lake Como and the town of Bellagio. Upon arrival at Lake Como we'll visit the town of the same name, starting our tour off with the Basilica of Sant'Abbondio. From here we'll explore Como's historic center, where you'll have free time to explore the local shops and boutiques. Next, we'll head out onto the Lake itself on a stunning 2-hour cruise. Make sure to bring your camera to capture picturesque shots of the lakeside villas, including Villa d'Este at Cernobbio, a luxurious hotel set among tropical gardens. Then, we'll dock at the town of Bellagio, one of the most famous on the lake. There you can follow the steep alleys running up from the lake and stop for a coffee or gelato at one of the lively cafes in grand historic buildings. Spend some time at your leisure here before the boat ride back to Cadenabbia, and the return trip to Milan. Winter (November - March) Upon arrival we'll join a scenic Lake Como cruise, passing by stunning lakeside villas and the Villa d'Este at Cernobbio, a luxurious hotel nestled within a tropical garden of exotic and rare plants. Then we'll take a funicular to the nearby town of Brunate for a stunning view of the Italian Lake District. Here we'll get to have some coffee or gelato (own expense), and then we'll return to Como for a guided walking tour.

We will return to the original meeting point in Milan at around 6:30pm.
