1-Day Apache Trail Day Tour from Phoenix

Upon departure from your hotel at 9:30 am we will travel into the heart of the Superstition Mountain Range and along the Apache Trail. Our first stop will be the old gold mining ghost town of Goldfield located at the base of the neighboring Superstition Mountain range. Here we will give you 45min-1hour to check out the old west shops and see how it was back in the day. Soon after we will hit the Apache Trail and let you take in the amazing and eye dazzling views of the Superstitions and the Sonoran Desert along the trail. We will soon reach Canyon Lake, here you are slated for a 90-minute sightseeing journey on an old-fashioned steamboat across the lake. Upon return to the shore, we will take you down the road to one of the oldest stage coach stops in the Southwest and the site of where a lot of gold was mined in the late 1800's. This place is Tortilla Flat! It is a general store owned by the same family for generations and a good spot to enjoy local novelties and lunch as well. Lunch is optional at this stop. After this stop we will take you to the Apache museum where many western movies were filmed. Here you will have 1-1.25 hours. Soon after we will return to accommodation. Tour will be conducted in SUV or van.

We recommend bringing good walking shoes, camera, hat, sunglasses, and a jacket.
