Please arrive at the Interlaken Ost railway station by 6:20am so that you can read the monitors and determine the correct platform for boarding the 6:35am train to Lauterbrunnen. Train times and destinations are displayed on monitors placed throughout the station. Normally the train to Lauterbrunnen departs from Platform 2A, but please check the monitors to double confirm.
The train will leave Interlaken Ost station at 6:35am sharp. Good Morning discount tickets to Jungfraujoch are non-refundable, so it is crucial that you board the first train on time.
Tickets will be checked by the conductors on-board, after the train leaves the station.
Your epic rail journey up to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe begins with a scenic ascent into Lauterbrunnen Valley, taking about 20 minutes from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen.
You will get off at Lauterbrunnen station, then board the next train to Kleine Scheidegg. The train ride from Lauterbrunnen to Kleine Scheidegg takes approximately 45 minutes.
The train to Kleine Scheidegg will take you up through the car-free village of Wengen, where the train will stop briefly, then continue up through the Wengernalp alpine meadow, with ever more stunning views of the Eiger north face as the train approaches Kleine Scheidegg station.
All passengers will alight at the Kleine Scheidegg station. There will be clear signage, as well as rail staff on duty, to direct you to the connecting train to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe.
The discount fare is applicable on the 8:00am and 8:30am connecting trains from Kleine Scheidegg. If you miss the 8:00am train, it is still possible to wait at the Kleine Scheidegg station for the next train departing at 8:30am; however, we recommend catching the earliest train to Jungfraujoch, as this will give you more time at the top. Please have a printed or digital copy of your e-ticket handy, as there are turnstiles where you will be asked to scan the QR code on the ticket.
The final 35-minute train ride to the highest train station in Europe will take you deep into the mountain, with a 5-minute stop at Eismeer station for panoramic photo opportunities.
Arriving at Jungfraujoch, 3,454 meters above sea level, the world is your oyster, with myriad attractions and activities to choose from. Your discount fare gives you five hours to enjoy the following activities:

For the return journey, please be sure to take a train departing the station at or before 1:13pm, as the Good Morning Discount Ticket is not valid on trains leaving Jungfraujoch after 1:13pm.
