Our Monuments and Memorials Sunset Bike Tour is the perfect way to take in the sites at night! It is completely different from our day time tours, getting closer to the Jefferson and FDR Memorials. This tour provides you with the opportunity to bike through the National Mall, visiting some of its best memorials. Have you ever tried to walk some the National Mall's top memorials? The Jefferson Memorial, the Lincoln, the Franklin Roosevelt, the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial? It can take an entire day, if not more! Our Monuments and Memorials Sunset Bike Tour makes it possible to visit them all in just three hours. Tour Highlights: ● Lincoln Memorial - A temple built on the edge of the Potomac River dedicated to the 16th President. It has been at the center of the Civil Rights movement for nearly a century. Get a great look down the Mall at Sundown from the top steps! ● Jefferson Memorial - Dedicated to our Third President, this striking memorial looks eerily similar to his house down in Virginia. Hear about the trouble caused when President Roosevelt tried to get a better view of it. ● Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial - The Memorial with one of the largest footprints in D.C., this stunning Memorial to our longest serving President is divided into four "rooms", each representing one of his four terms in office. ● Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial - One of the newest Memorials on the National Mall, the Martin Luther King honors the efforts of the amazing Civil Rights leader. Just steps away from where he delivered his famous "I have a Dream Speech," take in the beautiful memorial and read some of his strongest quotes on Civil Rights. ● Also see - White House, Vietnam Memorial, World War II Memorial, Korean Memorial, Washington Monument and much much more! We ask that each guest arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the necessary paperwork. Please bring your credit card at the time of the tour for pre-authorization. Each of our tours begins with a 30 minute orientation session. We will practice on the bike until everyone feels comfortable and is ready to conquer the city. Due to the risk to both mother and child, pregnant women are not allowed to participate on our bike tours. Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or authorized guardian.

The operating date is subject to change, please check the availability before booking.

*For children under 18 months of age or 20kg (45lbs), we have baby seats that can be attached to the back of a bike.

*For children weighing up to 30kg (65lbs), we have trailers that can be left open or zipped up to fully enclose the passenger.

*For children up to 12 years old or 45kg (100lbs), we have 2 wheeled tag-a-longs. The passenger sits on a seat and can pedal or coast.

*All riders over 45kg (100lbs) must ride their own bicycle. We have various smaller sized mountain bikes for those able to ride on their own, and of course, our regular beach cruisers for children big enough to ride them.

*The tours operate in groups of 8. If the party is larger than 16, the group will be split up for safety reasons.

*Unfortunately, we do not have any adult tricycles or bikes with training wheels for adults that may be less confident in their riding ability.

*When making a reservation, please be certain to note the ages of all children in the party to be sure there are enough properly sized bikes.

The time we mentioned in the itinerary is for reference only. Please refer to your guide on tour for the actual arrangement. The visiting order and duration might be changed according to actual and practical situation for better service.
