Attraction #1 - Horseshoe Bend: Located near the small town of Page, Arizona, and not far from Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend is a breathtaking sight with few equals in the world. The soil here, similar to that of Utah, contains high amounts of iron and manganese, which give it a stunning metallic red glow in the sunlight. Additionally, the Colorado River, which carves out this bend, is an emerald green, creating a beautiful contrast with the red earth. The curve of the bend is perfectly smooth and aesthetically pleasing in shape. Finally, the sheer size and depth of the bend are awe-inspiring! Looking down at the Colorado River, you can spot tiny boats that appear no larger than flies.
Attraction #2 - Lower Antelope Canyon: It is one of the most famous slot canyons in the world and a renowned destination for photography. The canyon's geological structure is made of red sandstone, and the rocks inside have been sculpted by flash floods into a surreal, dream-like landscape. Located within a Native American reservation, this natural wonder is often referred to as an "underground paradise" by visitors. Entry is only allowed with a Native American guide, not just for environmental and cultural preservation, but also for the safety of visitors. Even when the sun shines brightly above the canyon, a sudden rainstorm can turn this narrow paradise into a raging torrent, leaving no chance for escape.
Be sure to bring your camera because you will not want to miss out some of the most breathtaking views of Lower Antelope Canyon slot.
