Come to the "House of the Sun" where ancient Hawaiian myths tells how their demi-god Maui lassoed the Sun. Rising over 10,000 feet above sea level Haleakala is Maui's, "House of the Sun" in Hawaiian lore. Witness the breaking of a new day at the top of Mt. Haleakala. Renown for its raw beauty and unique scenery, Haleakala National Park, the Visitor Center and Pu`u Ula`ula Overlook will delight and amaze you. Dress warmly for the summit. We do not guarantee weather will permit viewing of sunrise.

***Dress warmly for the summit of Haleakala. ***We do not guarantee weather will permit viewing sunrise. ***Pick-up in Maui hotels: 2:00am; Return Time: approximately 11:30am ***During 10/1/2019-4/1/2020, pick-up in Maui hotels: 2:30am The Haleakalā Rangers Station rest stop at 7,000 ft. elevation will close from Dec 03- 06, 2019 for the installation of new exhibits. During this brief closure, guests will still stop at 7,000 ft. elevation to enjoy the Haleakalā silversword and restroom facilities. Items normally available at the Rangers Station will be available at the Haleakalā Visitor Center at 9,740 ft. elevation, including the National Park stamp. *Due to a fallen tree, Rainbow Falls cannot be visited till November 7, 2019. Additional time will be spent at other tour stops.
