COVID-19 Health & Safety Information:
* Passengers will be required to wear a face mask during their entire experience. They may provide their own mask or the local operator will provide a mask.
* Passengers will be visibly checked for signs of illness. They will be asked about their recent history relating to Covid-19 symptoms, tests and exposure. If staff deem it appropriate, a touchless thermometer will be used to take a passenger's temperature before boarding their flight. If a passenger's temperature is above 100.4, there will be additional screening and the passenger may be refused service.
* Passengers will have doors opened for them to limit touch points.
* Staff will demonstrate how life preservers are worn; passengers will put their own life preserver on. Passengers will place their own belongings into complimentary lockers.
* Headsets will be provided without microphones and will be disinfected between flights. Passengers will have the option to use disposable earplugs if they prefer.
* We will minimize the number of passengers in our lobby to ensure social distancing can be followed. Passengers may be asked to wait outside.
Max weight = 275lbs (125kg) per passenger.
In the event of inclement weather - heavy rain and snow, low clouds, dense fog, lightning, extreme winds, etc. - passengers may reschedule their flight on another day at no additional cost. If you are unable to reschedule, you will be entitled to a full refund.
If you need to book a flight to New York City, we recommend that you make a reservation after you have received a confirmation email from us (normally within one to two business days).
Passengers must arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time.
Valid Government issued photo identification must be presented by all passengers and guests.
Passengers are required to sign a waiver prior to their flight, this can be completed in advance or onsite.
All bags are subject to inspection.
All passengers are required to receive a safety briefing before flying.
Complimentary lockers are available to safely hold belongings while flying. Only cameras, cell phones and wallets are permitted on the helicopters. Bags/purses must be locked up.
Failure of any passenger to comply with the request or instruction of HeliNY staff will result in refusal to board aircraft.
