On this last day, we will drive the famous Golden Circle route, starting with a stop at a geothermal greenhouse and horse stable. Here, you will learn about the Icelandic horse and its history. Our second stop of the day is Geysir, where you can witness Strokkur, also known as "the Churn," erupt every 5-7 minutes. Although the original geyser is dormant, you can still walk up to it. Just a bit further along the route is Gullfoss, or "the Golden Falls," a truly breathtaking sight. We will wrap up the day with a visit to Þingvellir, one of Iceland's National Parks and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is the home of the world's oldest parliament. Here, you can witness the dramatic rift caused by the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia beneath the park. The lava fields here tell countless stories of the past, steeped in history.
