The Sintra National Palace, located in the heart of the village, is a key historical monument with significant architectural and artistic value. Dating back to the Middle Ages, the former Royal Palace has preserved its essence, blending medieval, Gothic, Manueline, Renaissance, and Romantic styles. It was the residence of the Portuguese royal family until the monarchy's end in 1910. After the palace visit, we'll explore Sintra's historic center, with its narrow, story-filled streets and local shops. On our way back to Lisbon, we’ll pass through Cascais, a village known for its closeness and intrinsic connection to the sea and the ocean.
