I was nervous about the glass bridge, but it turned out to be the highlight of the trip. The views of the canyon from the bridge are stunning. The Tianzi Mountain area was less crowded than Yuanjiajie, and the views were just as good. Our guide helped us avoid the crowds by starting early. A fantastic 4-day adventure.
The whole trip was really exciting and well organized. Local guides were very good, especially David, who was an angel to us all. The itinerary covered the major points of interest in China within the short 14-day schedule. The Chinese food that was included was really good. The local guides went out of their way to accommodate some of our needs outside of the tour schedule. My two sisters and I really enjoyed the tour.
This was my first solo trip to China, and I felt very safe and well taken care of. The airport pickup was seamless. The views at Tianmen Mountain (especially the cave and the glass walkway) were worth the long cable car ride. The only small drawback is that the tour is physically demanding — lots of stairs. But if you’re reasonably fit, you’ll be fine. A fantastic 4-day adventure.
This was my first solo trip to China, and I felt very safe and well looked after. The airport pickup was seamless. The Golden Whip Stream hike was my favorite part — so peaceful. The Bailong Elevator was thrilling. The only drawback is that the tour is physically demanding; lots of stairs and uphill walking. If you’re reasonably fit, you’ll be fine. A fantastic 3-day escape.
