Question 1

Accepted Answer

Take the TRAM Line 1 (Alicante - Playa de San Juan) from the airport station located outside Terminal 1. The ride to central stops like Sangueta or Luceros takes 20 minutes and costs €2.20 with a Bonometro card. Trams run every 30 minutes from 5:30 AM to midnight.

Question 2

What’s the best way to use public transport for day trips from Alicante to nearby towns like Elche or Benidorm?

Accepted Answer

Use Renfe Cercanías (commuter rail) Line C1, connecting Alicante to Elche (15 min, €2.30) and Benidorm (1 hr, €5.50). Trains run hourly from Alicante Terminal station. For flexibility, consider the 10-trip Bonocan card valid for 90 days.
