Tours y viajes guiados en Nepal

Nestled between the towering peaks of the Himalayas and the Indian plains, Nepal is a landlocked nation that maintains a notably low profile compared to its neighbors. But the sheer scale of the country's natural landscapes is breathtaking. Most visitors arrive in Kathmandu, the bustling capital city filled with ancient wooden temples, hidden courtyards, and the scents of incense and street food. Just a short hop away is Pokhara, a much more relaxed lakeside city that serves as the starting point for treks into the Annapurna range. Of course, the biggest draw is Mount Everest, and even if you aren't climbing it, the flight to see the world's highest peak or the trek to Everest Base Camp are once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

La mejor época para visitar Nepal

Verano 2026
Summer in Nepal is defined by the arrival of the monsoon and lush, verdant scenery. From late May into summer the lowlands can become humid and the hill forests thick with rainfall, while higher trails often lie under cloud cover. Much of the Western and Central trekking zones slow down with muddy tracks, leeches in subtropical altitudes and reduced visibility on peaks like Mount Everest and Annapurna I. Nevertheless this season brings dramatic contrast - rivers brim, waterfalls thunder, rice paddies shine emerald, and the remote rain-shadow region of Upper Mustang remains accessible with dry skies. Wildlife in lowland reserves such as Chitwan National Park thrives, jungle lodges melt into the greenery, and village life in valleys such as the Langtang Valley takes on a quieter pace.

Otoño 2026
Autumn returns clarity and brilliance to Nepal’s mountain horizons. From September the skies tend to clear, the post-monsoon dust washes away, and daytime temperatures in regions such as the Annapurna circuit hover pleasantly around 15-24 °C while evenings begin to cool. The high passes awaken, the Himalayan panorama sharpens, and treks towards Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp or along the Kali Gandaki gorge enter their high season. Festivals such as Dashain and Tihar bring rich local atmosphere in Kathmandu and beyond. Lakeside Pokhara glows beneath crisp peaks, hill-village trails lead through golden forests, and fewer rain disruptions make multi-day treks smoother. This season is often regarded as the prime time for Himalayan trekking thanks to reliable weather and spectacular views.

Invierno 2026/2027
Winter in Nepal brings quiet, crisp air and a different kind of stillness. In lower elevations around Kathmandu and Pokhara daytime highs may reach 9-12 °C, but in the high Himalayas, night-time temperatures plunge well below freezing and snow often closes high passes such as the Thorong La or Cho La. With fewer trekkers and clear-blue skies dominating many days, winter offers pristine mountain vistas, tranquil tea-house stays and short hikes around places like Ghorepani or the lower Langtang valley. While high-altitude circuits remain challenging, routes at moderate elevation still reward with solitude and crisp air. Vistas of snow-dusted peaks against deep blue backdrops, unhurried villages and festive atmospheres around the New Year make winter appealing to those seeking peace and panoramic clarity in Nepal.

Primavera 2027
In spring Nepal wakes into colour and activity as lowland temperatures rise and the high hills thaw. In the Kathmandu Valley daytime highs climb from around 15-25 °C, and in the foothills of the Annapurna Circuit or Everest Region the air remains crisp but comfortable. Rainfall is light before the monsoon arrives and skies are generally clear in the mornings. The trails through rhododendron forests burst into bloom and jungle birds return to chatter in the hills. En route villages awaken from winter slumber, festivals like Holi add joyous colour, and lakeside towns such as Pokhara reflect the rising peaks. Lower-altitude treks become ideal as snow shrinks on passes and views open. Spring offers one of the most inviting windows to explore Himalayan panoramas, cultural valleys and the early warmth of Nepal’s high terrain.
