ItineraryBlack Canyon/Emerald Cave - a kayaker's dream destination.
We will pick you up from your select hotel and meet up with your guide at Willow Beach where we will get you prepared for the day ahead and fitted into your kayaks! Your guide will provide a quick kayaking lesson and get you ready for the Kayak.
When paddling toward Emerald Cave, we will take a break from kayaking and explore breathtaking views of the entire canyon. Get your cameras ready for the Desert Big Horn Sheep, blue heron, and Bald Eagles. Enjoy the tour, while taking a chance to swim in the mystical green water of the Colorado River.
Hemenway Park - This Park is comprised of approximately 10 acres and includes playground equipment, gazebos, basketball courts, horseshoe pits and 2 lighted tennis courts. One of this park's main attractions is the Bighorn sheep that come down from the mountains to the water and graze. This lovely park is located in Hemenway Valley on Ville Drive with a fantastic view of Lake Mead.
When the tour comes to an end, we will transport you back to the hotel we picked you up from.

-1. What should I bring/wear?
Shorts, T-shirt, hat, water shoes (Teva style sandals or sneakers are best), sunglasses, a small dry bag for personal items (Ziplock bags work well for this) and sunscreen (Lots of sun!) are definitely recommended. Wear a bathing suit under layers of clothing. During our warmer months, you will have the opportunity to swim! A light jacket keeps you warm in winter will also be a good idea. And also, don’t forget the camera! We do provide unlimited of cold bottled water, and lots of snacks for the entire tour. You are all set to go!
-2. Will I enjoy it as a beginner, or if I cannot swim?
We invite all skill levels to enjoy the beautiful Black Canyon! It is mandatory for guests to wear life jackets and our guides will patiently help you enjoy your tour to the fullest. You will be the confident kayaker with your tour guide. They are professionals, and we introduce newcomers to the sport every day. All trips will receive safety rules, as well as basic paddling instructions. Enjoy the crystal-clear water of the Colorado River in our kayaks. What unique experience to spend time with your loved ones!
3. What is the maximum group size for the Kayak Tour?
This activity will have a maximum of 10 guests. If you have a group more than 10 people, we will double confirm with you.
4. How long will we spend on the water during the Kayak Tour?
We are on the water for around 3 hours, with plenty of time to swim, eat, hang out and just enjoy the day!
5. Is there a weight limit to participate in the Kayak Tour?
We recommend anyone under 250 lbs. Contact us at the phone number on your ticket after confirming your reservation to best accommodate you.
6. Do I pay per person or per boat?
Our prices are per person. If you are bringing younger children, we may require them to be in a tandem kayak with a parent, but all prices for all tours are per person.
