World's Biggest Lobster Sculpture

Approximately 500,000 visitors per year come to Rotary Park in Shediac, New Brunswick to view the World's Biggest Lobster Sculpture that measures 16.4 feet wide by 35 feet long and 16 feet high. It was created by Penobsquis animal sculptor Winston Bronnum and took three years to finish in 1990. The art piece made from concrete and steel was an idea of the Shediac Rotary Club because the town is known for its lobster and the statue could attract tourists.
