The Mall

The Mall

This tree- and flag-lined road in Westminster runs from Buckingham Palace to Trafalgar Square through the Admiralty Arch. It starts at the Victoria Memorial which is situated on a roundabout in front of Buckingham Palace. The Mall was built as a ceremonial route and is used for processions at royal weddings, funerals and coronations.
