Sacred Falls
Sacred Falls is a park and trail located in Oahu, Hawaii that is more notable for its beautiful waterfalls. Sacred Falls has been permanently closed since 1999 due to an accident caused by a landslide. The Sacred Falls formerly received about 55,000 visitors annually before the 1999 incident. The island is also famous for its urban legend detailing a demigod that once inhabited the island.
