Newbury Street

Before the mid-1800s, Boston's Newbury Street was Boston Harbor until the area filled in starting in 1857 to become the city's Back Bay neighborhood. The street today is called "The Rodeo Drive of the East" as it has eight blocks of upscale shopping with clothing boutiques, luxury retailers, fine dining, salons, cafes, art galleries, jewelry stores, chocolate shops, bars and much more.
