Lake Nordenskjold

Named after the Swedish polar explore Otto Nordenskjold, the lake rests at the center of the Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. The turquoise waters flow south towards the Salto Grande waterfall and eventually feed into Lake Pehoe. Surrounded by granite mountains, an abundance of wildlife live along the lake including foxes, pumas, and guanacos.
