The picturesque village that was incorporated in 1820 is comprised of elegant 19th century architecture, spectacular beaches and bountiful blueberry fields. Kennebunk highlights are the Brick Store Museum, Farmers' Market, Eastern Trail, Museum in the Streets, Nature Conservancy Blueberry Barrons and the Kennebunk Inn. Its two-story yellow Wedding Cake House is noted as "The Most Photographed House in Maine" was constructed in Federal-style with Gothic trim in 1800s by George W. Bourne.
