Hollywood Boulevard

The sidewalks of this world-famous street in the Hollywood District of Los Angeles are literally paved with stars with the Walk of Fame and lined with entertainment industry attractions such as TCL Chinese Theatre, Dolby Theatre, Pantages Theatre, Grauman's Egyptian Theatre, El Capitan Entertainment Centre, Madame Tussauds Hollywood, Hollywood Wax Museum and the Capital Records Building. Hollywood Boulevard was originally called Prospect Avenue until the City of Los Angeles annexed Hollywood in 1910 and has been the subject of many renovations throughout the last 20 years. The boulevard running from Vermont Avenue to Sunset Plaza Drive is a U.S. Historic District and on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
