East Canyon State Park

Boating, fishing and camping are popular activities at this state park located in Northeast Utah that was once traversed by The Donner Party farmers in 1846 on their way to California. Mormon emigrants followed the route a year later and it became known as the Donner-Mormon Route. East Canyon State Park was established in 1962 and contains the 608-acre East Canyon Reservoir. It contains campgrounds, cabins, yurts, boat rentals, trails and concession services.
