The most visited caves in the Czech Republic's Moravian Karst! Punkva Caves, also called Punkevni Caves, were first explored in 1723 by monk Lazar Schopper. It was first opened to the public back in 1910. Visitors can take a underground cruise on the River Punkva and see the bottom of the Macocha Abyss. Numerous stalagmites, stalactites and stalactites can be found here.
