Named because of a canyon ridge depression that resembles a soaring bird, this point along the Grand Canyon that many Hualapai Tribe members believe to be sacred. Eagle Point features Skywalk, which is a horseshoe-shaped platform walkway with a glass floor and walls projecting out 70 feet from the canyon and 4,000 feet from the floor. Skywalk is the most popular attraction at the Hualapai-owned Grand Canyon West, according to the National Park Service.
