As always, went to places we would like to see which is as advertised. Accomodation are good, not a 5 star motel but for one night stay, it is good enough. Clean and quiet.
We stayed at two different motel on each night. One has free co..ntinental breakfast, the other is not. Wished they find another hotel that offer free continental breakfast. Speaking of the tour driver, Fruit Liu. He did a good job driving for 3 days. He is also the tour guide. Being a driver and a tour guide is not easy. We gave him an extra cash for a job well done. For those, who never tried a bus tour. Riding the tour bus with different people from different country is like riding an international plane. Always bring snacks as it takes 2 hours at least before the next stop for bathroom or food break. Speaking of the company, one of the passenger has a delayed flight and arrived late. The tour driver cannot wait as it has a time limit to pick up others passenger. When the late passenger arrived at the airport the company pick up the passenger on another vehicle and drive her 4 hours to meet our group in the first destination. That is good customer service. Also there was a fire on one of the major highway to go to the next destination. The office told the driver about it and have to reroute which is at least another 100 miles additional mileage.Read full review

This trip was a wonderful gift for me. Our guide Yousri, who speaks English with practically no accent. His knowledge and culture allowed us to immerse ourselves in the habits and customs of the history of this wonderful country.
We had a great time, the food is very varied and the chef is very caring even if we did not eat much because it was very hot.The crew even organized a surprise party we danced with them their traditional dance and laughed a lot!

We are very surprised to provide a five stars hotel, except the room is a little old, but the price is very reasonable. Great services, great experience and nice tour guides, It's a pity that the tour guide's English was not good when we w..ere in Luxor, as we couldn't understand well. Everything is great and amazing , they gave a private tour for 4 of us, liked it! Strong recommendation!!Read full review

We spent 8 days in Egypt. We were guided by Mr.Abdullah, whose fine, relevant and penetrating comments allowed us to fully grasp the significance of these places.
I booked this a week in advance and was contacted the night prior to my reservation. Hend , our travel guide, provided my wife and I an unforgettable experience. While this sounds cliche, it really was an absolute bargain for the treatment ..we received. Our guide, Manar, and our driver, picked us up at the entrance of our hotel at 8 am sharp. She was an expert at the information she provided (a certified Egyptologist with graduate level experience on the matter). She provided us 9.5 hours of tour guidance (more than expected) and a wealth of information. Egypt is a place we had never been, so we were a bit apprehensive of buying souvenirs and navigating some of the archaeological sites. Manar took us to unique and authentic shops where she helped us get excellent prices and guided us away from bad deals. I forgot to mention, she is also a photographer, so if you’ve got a good camera or smartphone, she takes wonderful shots. The best bargain we received while visiting Cairo was hands down the tour guidance. My wife and I fell in love with the city and the incredible sights because of the guidance and information she provided on our excursion. Yes, you can see the sights without a tour guide, but having a personal driver and an expert on the tours will make your stay stress free. She did everything for us.same everythings happened when we went to cruise in Luxor and Aswan the stuff was helpful and guide and driver also was nice and professionalRead full review
Overall I am very happy. The stays in the Hotels and the Cruise were just fantastic.
I could feel a few thing which need to be improved:
1. There was a lack of planning on the part of the Local person from Book&Go.
2. Everyday we had to do.. a lot of follow-up with him to know the next day's timings and the information about the guide. This was a big lag. The guest should be well aware of each day's activity with timings and the contact person with his phone number
3. Every place there was a new guide.
4. We faced challenges at Luxor. The guide was arrogant. He declined to take us inside the structure to explain the monuments. He simply used to take us through the corridors and told us that he is not allowed to go inside with us and explain. Whereas other guides were doing so.
5. He and the driver on 28th were very pushy about the tipping. Although we had already paid the tips at the rate of $21 per day to the person at Cairo on 25th for all the 8 days.
6. The driver was very loud in speaking and we were kind of threatened.
7. The Local person at Cairo also took $195 ($65 per person) as guarantee (on returnable basis).
8. On the cruise, all the programs were put on the notice board in French, Dutch and German language. But there was nothing in English. I was told that putting the schedule on the notice board was the responsibility of the guide. And we never knew about our guide in advance and there was non on the cruise with us.
Still I will say that we enjoyed our trip.Read full review
