Content Editor Job Accountabilities
• Write and create accurate content for new pages and products, which may include writing brief descriptions on new cities and attractions as part of the added-value content on the product pages.
• Responsible for locating, selecting, downloading, editing and filing the digital images used for each product.
• Collaborate and work closely with colleagues on ongoing projects that may consist of very tight deadlines.
• Create/reviseexisting text to optimize search engine results.
• Communicate with vendors to ensure accurate information.
Requirements
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to work on their own and as a team.
• Strongability to set priorities, solve problems and be resourceful under pressure.
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual skills a plus!
• Basic HTML and SEO knowledge also a plus but not required.
Credentials
• BS/BA in Communications, Creative Writing or Journalism.
• Experience as a writer / editor / copywriter for thetravel, tourism and/or hospitality industries.
