Experience flying over the deepest and widest part of Grand Canyon with Grand Canyon Discovery Airplane Tour.
This tour takes off from the Grand Canyon National Park Airport from the eastern part of the canyon, crossing Zuni Point and flying through the Zuni Corridor. You would be able to enjoy the view of Painted Desert and Navajo Indian Reservation to the east while following the mighty Colorado River. The aircraft will turn crossing Temple Butte heading for the North Rim showing fantastic areas of the Kaibab Plateau and Kaibab National Forests. Point Imperial, the highest point on the North Rim, can be seen as you fly directly west towards Dragon Head.
Flight time is approximately 45 minutes.
Passengers are requested to arrive at the Grand Canyon National Park Airport on their own, 45 minutes prior to departure.

Pick up times:
Morning to Before Noon (5:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.)
Noon to Late Afternoon (12:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m.)

We recommend you to make your reservation in advance to secure preferred pick up and flight times for your tour. Please include your preferred pickup time in the additional notes when booking online. (We cannot assure the flight timings to exactly match your requested time, as the schedules and availability of the flights are likely to change.)

Special Notes

  • In Spring/Summer, we recommend you to wear lightweight clothing and comfortable shoes. In Fall/Winter, we recommend layered clothing to ensure comfort in cold weather.

Reservation Process and E-Ticket

1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation is confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
