This Neoclassical style public plaza has been amazing visitors for decades offering 360-degree postcard-perfect views of Florence, the Arno River and the Tuscan countryside. Michelangelo Square, or Piazza Michelangelo, was designed in 1869 by architect Giuseppe Poggi and this elegant terrace features reproductions of Michelangelo's artworks including "David" and the Medici Chapel as a dedication to the legendary artist.
