Angel Island

The San Francisco Bay island contained a United States Immigration Station from 1910-40 welcoming hundreds of mostly Asian immigrants to the country and the terminal is now a museum. Angel Island contains a 37-acre state park as well as a cafe, cantina and military bases. Popular island activities are tours, bicycling, camping, picnicking and hiking.
