Those planning a
trip to Los Angeles soon will have much to look forward to, as the city will be introducing two
new attractions for its visitors. Universal Studios Hollywood will soon open its doors to their King Kong 360 3D ride while the California Science Center will premiere its Mummies of the World exhibit.
Come June 29, Universal Studios will finally unveil its newest King Kong attraction as part of the park’s iconic tram ride Studio Tour. The tram will make a stop on between two enormous movie screens as they illustrate a treacherous battle between the mighty King Kong and the powerful T-Rex. Visitors of the park will feel as though they are actually on Skull Island as the special effects engage their every sense, from the shots of water, to the scents, and electrifying sound. The theme park actually enlisted the help of celebrated director Peter Jackson to create this monumental attraction. The ride utilizes today’s most innovative technological advancements to create the authentic look of the characters and presents all of its images through 16 HiDef projectors.
Another
attraction that will surely capture the interest of those on a
tour of Los Angeles is the Mummies of the World exhibition at the California Science Center. Unlike anything the public has ever seen, this collection will showcase the largest traveling exhibition of mummies including those never before seen. With its offering of both well-preserved and some unintentionally preserved artifacts, Mummies of the World will shed some light into the life in the ancient world as to what life was really like. With mummies from almost every continent, the collection debuting July 1 will serve to educate all about experiences in different cultures of the world.
These are some of the most highly anticipated attractions and should not be missed during your next
Los Angeles trip.
