Yangshuo is a county town in Guangxi, located south of Guilin, and its scenery is even more breathtaking than that of Guilin. With thousands of vertical limestone hills rising abruptly from emerald rice paddies and the winding Yulong River. It is widely considered one of the most beautiful places in the world for outdoor adventure and relaxation. Popular activities in Yangshuo include drifting downstream on a bamboo raft, cycling through the tranquil Ten-Mile Gallery, or simply spending a leisurely afternoon at a café. The nearby Moon Hill, featuring a massive natural round hole through its summit, is also a famous landmark in the region.
