A tribute to the 16 million who served in the United States Armed Forces, the more than 400,000 who died for their country and those who backed the war effort from home, the National World War II Memorial opened in Washington, D.C. on April 29, 2004. The 7.4-acre site has a memorial consisting of 56 pillars with one wreath on each side encompassing a plaza with two 43-foot pavilions, four bronze columns with American eagles, 24 bronze bas relief sculptures and a Freedom Wall with 4,000 gold stars. Honor and remember the heroes of The Greatest Generation at this monument in the United States' Capitol.

Everything is awesome. I just want share that each days schedule and hotels details should be with guest before starting the whole trip. As I am a solo traveler this is very important to share this with my family. Our Tour guide Kiko is fantastic, lovely, supportive, patient, calm temprament, helping nature, on toes always, hard working. She is a real gem of your company. Don't loose her.
