West Tisbury was settled with Tisbury in 1660 with Tisbury named after a Wiltshire, England town. Attractions are the Manuel F. Correllus State Forest, Long Point Wildlife Refuge, Polly Hill Arboretum, Old Mill, Split Rock and Grange Hall.

2-Day Bus Tour from New York·Martha's Vineyard

Beautiful weekend getaway

This trip was fun and our tour guide, Vicky was awesome. She spoke both English and Chinese, was knowledgeable about the areas we visited and was very helpful, considerate and kind. We got the Martha’s Vineyard Island tour which was informative and we got to go around the Island, got down at the Gayhead light house, and came back to oak bluffs. We got about 3 hours to ourselves to go around the Island and do our stuff. I went to see the Island Alpacas using local bus. It was easy to get around. Even Uber services are pretty quick.
