The city was miraculously rebuilt after major devastation from bombing and raids during World War II. Popular Warsaw attractions include the Royal Castle, Wilanow Palace, St. Mary's Church, Old Town Warsaw, Krasiński Palace, Market Square, Sigismund's Column and the Warsaw Barbican. It is also home to the tallest four-faced clock in the world.

An In-Depth Look at Two Beautiful Countries

The city tours in Warsaw and Stockholm were great. I loved the museums in Gdansk, especially the European Solidarity Center. Malbork Castle was so much fun to explore, and the ferry ride between Poland and Sweden was a great way to see the Baltic Sea. Our guide was fantastic, and everything was well-organized!

So much more than I expected

I thought this tour would just be old towns and churches, but it had such variety. Riga’s Art Nouveau district blew me away, and Vilnius felt so lively. The visit to Grutas Park was eye-opening, and Warsaw wrapped it up perfectly. Honestly, nine days just flew by.
