I took this trip with my sister, and we both appreciated not having to navigate between stops. I had been looking forward to the overnight stay in Jasper town; in the end, the mountain lakes became an unexpected favorite. The days started early, which helped us reach the major viewpoints with enough time to enjoy them. We left our evenings simple and usually found an easy meal near the hotel. Overall, the route felt coherent and gave each stop its own purpose.
