Question 3

Do I need a special pass to visit the lagoons and geysers near San Pedro de Atacama?

Accepted Answer

Yes, many attractions like the Tatio Geysers, Laguna Cejar, and Valle de la Luna require purchasing a tourist ticket or joining an authorized tour. Some sites are within protected areas managed by local communities, so independent entry without a guide or permit is often restricted.
