Mejores Tours y Viajes de Puente romano de Córdoba

The Roman Bridge in Cordoba has 16 arches and leads to the Torre de Calahorra. Near its other end is the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, which is a fantastic display of Moorish architecture but now used as a Catholic church. The bridge itself crosses the Guadalquivir River, which is no longer as wide as the bridge is long. Now cobbled and passable to pedestrians and motor traffic alike, the Roman Bridge has been restored many times since it was built in the 1st century BC. None of the original structure remains.

I applied for my China visa through this service, and everything was super smooth. They helped with the forms, explained all the steps, and the fingerprint appointment in New York was easy to schedule. Highly recommend!

Preguntas frecuentes sobre tours de Roman Bridge Of Cordoba

Is the Roman Bridge of Córdoba free to visit and open at night?

Yes, the Roman Bridge of Córdoba is free to access 24/7. It remains open at night when beautifully illuminated, offering safe and scenic views. The surrounding historic center is well-lit and patrolled, making evening walks both safe and popular. No tickets or reservations are required.

How do I get from Córdoba Airport to the Roman Bridge using public transport?

Take the Aeropuerto-Córdoba urban bus (number 10) from the airport to the city center (Julián Romero stop), then walk 15 minutes to the bridge. Alternatively, connect via taxi (15-minute ride, ~€20). No direct train links the airport to the bridge; bus + walk is the most efficient public option.

What is the best time of year to visit the Roman Bridge to avoid crowds and heat?

Visit between March and May or September to October. These shoulder seasons offer mild temperatures (15–25°C) and fewer tourists. Córdoba's summer heat (June-August) often exceeds 35°C, making daytime visits uncomfortable. Spring also coincides with local festivals and blossoming gardens.

Can I walk from the Roman Bridge to the Mezquita easily?

Yes, the Mezquita is a 10-minute walk northeast from the bridge’s eastern end. Follow Calle Alfaros or Calle Claudio Marcelo from the Puerta del Puente. The route is well-signposted, paved, and accessible, passing Roman ruins and historic city gates along the way.
