Built upon a hill at the confluence of two rivers, this fast-growing city in Northwestern France is home to a vibrant student population. Visit Mont Saint-Michel, a granite island just off the coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its medieval architecture. Rennes is home to several sports teams, museums of all varieties, and a festival for every season. While in town, drink a glass of couchen, a local favorite made with honey and apple juice.
