Los Angeles' Farmers Market located in the city's Fairfax District began in 1934 on land owned by Arthur Fremont Gilmore and was the idea of Roger Dahlhjelm and Fred Beck. It now contains more than 100 merchants making it a favorite destination for tourists and locals alike. It is located near The Grove and CBS Television City. "The Original Farmers Market" is visited by more than three million people per year.

Great Tour Guide

I had this tour on 20th March 2026. The tour guide was Leo Liu. He was friendly. He explained everything to our group in English and Mandarin, answered our questions patiently, pointing out spots to take pictures and even helped us took our photos which I greatly appreciated. He was a like a new friend on this trip, sharing tidbits of life in LA, the history of it and also good food to try.
