Located in southeastern Ontario, Canada, Lake Muskoka has been a popular holiday destination and recreational area for 150 years. It offers something for every season: fantastic skiing snowshoeing in winter, fresh maple syrup in the spring, boat excursions on the lake in summer, and breathtaking scenery in the fall. Other attractions in Lake Muskoka include Santa’s Village, Muskoka Heritage Place and the Muskoka Lakes Museum. The Bethune Memorial House National Historic Site is located in nearby Gravenhurst, a tribute to Canadian physician and social activist Dr. Norman Bethune.

6-Day Maple Tour from Toronto: Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Agawa Canyon, Gravenhurst and Niagara Falls

The highlight of this tour was definitely the Agawa Canyon fall colors and train ride. The photos I took look unreal! Niagara Falls was also amazing with plenty of time to enjoy the area. Sudbury’s local charm was a pleasant surprise. Hotels were comfortable, and transportation was well managed. The tour guide was organized and made sure we all stayed on schedule. I’d recommend this tour to friends and family.
