Mejores Tours y Viajes de Jordán

Located in the heart of the Levant, Jordan is a landlocked kingdom, save for a small window onto the Red Sea, where vast, quiet deserts meet some of the most famous ruins in the world. Most people start in Amman, a hilly capital city where you can eat incredible falafel downtown and then walk up to the Citadel to see Roman columns overlooking the urban sprawl. From there, it’s an easy drive south to Petra, the "Rose City" carved directly into pink sandstone cliffs. Walking through the narrow gorge known as the Siq until the Treasury suddenly appears is the kind of moment that stays with you forever. Further south, the landscape turns into Wadi Rum, a desert of red sand and towering rock formations where you can camp under the stars with Bedouin hosts.

La mejor época para visitar Jordan

Otoño2026/2027
Autumn delivers a welcome respite from summer’s blaze. Temperatures in Amman gradually decline from around 25-28 °C in September to 15-18 °C by November. Rain remains sparse, and skies stay crisp and clear across the desert and highlands. With cooler temperatures and softer light, this season is ideal for exploring Petra’s towering façades, hiking through the Dana Biosphere Reserve, or navigating canyons in Wadi Mujib. Cultural life perks up too — festivals like Jerash showcase traditional music and dance, while fewer tourists make visits more relaxed. Day-to-evening swings in the desert bring refreshing breezes and stargazing opportunities under open skies.

Invierno2026/2027
Winter in Jordan brings cooler weather, especially in the north and highlands, while the desert and Red Sea coast remain relatively mild. Amman and Petra see daytime highs around 7-15 °C and can drop to near or below freezing at night. The rainy season peaks in December and January in the western hills, and occasional snow may dust the highest elevations like Amman’s ridge. In contrast, Aqaba and the Dead Sea stay milder with daytime temperatures around 14-20 °C. Winter rewards with peaceful landscapes and fewer crowds: walking Petra’s candlelit Siq, driving through Wadi Rum under starlit skies, or enjoying therapeutic dips in the Dead Sea feel uniquely serene in the cool season.

Spring in Jordan brings a gentle balance of warmth and renewal. Temperatures in Amman average between about 20-25 °C, with the Jordan Valley and Aqaba warming to around 28-32 °C as rainfall recedes. The hills and desert areas burst into bloom, with wildflowers - including the national black iris - painting Petra, Jerash, and the Dana Reserve in fresh color. Skies are mostly clear, and Khamsin winds may stir sand in the desert, adding drama to the landscapes. Days are warm and ideally suited for hiking; exploring the rose-red city of Petra, trekking in Wadi Rum, or floating in the Dead Sea feel especially comfortable. Evenings cool off pleasantly, and cultural events like the Jerash Festival emerge as locals celebrate spring’s arrival.

Summer in Jordan is scorching, particularly in desert and lowland regions. In Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and along the Dead Sea, daytime highs often reach 35-40 °C or more. Rainfall is virtually absent, and the air grows arid under relentless sunshine. Strong southerly winds like Sirocco can amplify the heat and stir sandstorms, especially across open desert terrain. Nevertheless, the intense light brings out the sculpted beauty of Petra’s canyons, and Aqaba’s Red Sea coast offers a refreshing escape with swimming, snorkeling, and diving. Stargazing in Wadi Rum remains magical under clear skies, though daytime excursions after noon are best avoided unless shaded or scheduled for early morning or evening.

8-Day Classic Jordan Ancient Cities and Desert Adventures Tour from Amman·Jerash Governorate, Dead Sea, Wadi Rum and Aqaba | Entrance Fees Included

This trip was a good balance of structure and independence. I especially enjoyed the quieter local experiences between the major sights. Our tour leader communicated clearly and handled small changes calmly. A little more free time at one stop would have been nice, but overall the pacing was good.

Great Egypt and Jordan Tour

I traveled with my husband and son on a private tour and loved it. We’re not disappointed. It exceeded our expectations. The service was great, the hotels are awesome. From the time our plane landed, there was someone assisting us to get to our service van to bring us to our hotel. The guides allocated to us are very knowledgeable and attentive.
