Just outside Cairo, Giza rises from the Nile Delta’s edge like a gateway to ancient wonders, home to the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World - the Great Pyramid of Khufu. Standing tall on the Giza Plateau, this monumental site also includes the equally impressive Pyramid of Khafre and the enigmatic Great Sphinx, its limestone face gazing mysteriously across the desert. While the scale of the pyramids draws awe, it's the intricate burial chambers, ancient workmen’s villages, and nearby solar boat museum that reveal the true depth of Pharaonic ingenuity. Few experiences rival watching the sunset paint the pyramids in golden hues, followed by a sound and light show that brings millennia of history vividly to life.

We had a blast exploring Egypt with our guide of course . The only misgiving was it was too humid for my liking. We could have chosen a cooler climate next time . Thanks to Omar , Jaffa and Ronda , our guide.
