The current version of Blarney Castle was built in 1446 with two previous versions constructed between 900-1210. Its history includes events such as Desmond Rebellions, Irish Confederate Wars and the Williamite War in Ireland. Gardens, rock formations and Blarney House are on the castle grounds of more than 1,000 acres. More than 250,000 people visit the castle every year.

I traveled with a group of friends, and we had a blast. Dublin was lively and historic, with great nightlife and music. Limerick was charming and relaxed. Killarney was magical, especially the lakes and mountains. The Ring of Kerry was a scenic highlight. Glasgow was a fun, cultural city. The guide was friendly and the hotels comfortable. The included meals were a nice bonus. A great friends' trip.

Really pleased with the tour

Really pleased with the amount of ground we covered – east to west coasts –as well as all the little trips and excursions and opportunities to learn more about the Irish history and culture. I loved that we stopped off at small and local places.
