This 1,000-acre Vancouver park has everything including beaches, trails, swimming pools, gardens, a water park, a miniature railway and Canada's biggest aquarium. Stanley Park attracts eight million visitors per year and was named after Governor General of Canada Lord Stanley. The National Historic Site of Canada highlights are the Vancouver Seawall, Lost Lagoon, Prospect Point, Jubilee Fountain, Brockton Point Lighthouse, Hollow Tree, Siwash Rock and Beaver Point. Before Vancouver was incorporated in 1886, the park area was home to Canada's indigenous tribes and the land contains many First Nations arts and totem poles.
