The city of Segovia is famous for its historical sites and architecture, most notably its Roman Aqueduct of Segovia and its old city - both declared World Heritage sites by UNESCO. Located within the Iberian Peninsula, Segovia was first recorded as a Celtic possession, before control was handed to the Romans.
