Segovia’s ship-shaped fairytale castle is Spain’s most famous, and is rumored to be the inspiration behind Cinderella’s castle at California’s Disneyland. Set high atop a rocky crag and against the backdrop of the Sierra de Guadarrama, visitors to Alcazar Castle of Segovia, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are able to tour some of its decorated period rooms, including the throne room and royal bedroom.
