Our scenic Shanghai tour starts at around 7:30am when we'll pick you up right from your Shanghai downtown hotel lobby. We'll begin our Shanghai sightseeing experience by visiting the Shanghai Old Street, which is as old as the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The architecture and the layout of the shops along this street are in harmony with the buildings in Yuyuan Garden, which is the largest of Shanghai's ancient gardens with Ming and Qing architectural styles. While here you guide will detail the area's rich historical and cultural importance. After having a short break and enjoy a cup of tea at Shanghai Tea House, we'll continue to The Bund - the highlight of any trip to Shanghai. Here we'll discover the city's most famous and attractive sights including the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance. Walk through the Bund to experience the profound history and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Pudong Area and Huangpu River. Next, we'll enjoy a delicious and authentic Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we'll visit the Shanghai Museum and immerse ourselves in the museum's amazing exhibits. Next, we'll see everyday scenes of people living in Shanghai, enjoy a shopping visit to Pearl City, explore the Shanghai typical alley at Tianzifang, and the old residential buildings, also known as ‘shikumen.' We'll end the tour with a stroll around the Old French Concession to see what the old colonial French quarter was like. At the end of our Shanghai tour we will transfer you back to your hotel.
